Here’s another beauty review! I’m not going to lie, I 100% bought this because of the facebook hype around it, and I heard that a lot of kpop idols use it. I needed a new foundation, so I decided to give it a whirl.
So I have combination skin, with my T-zone being oily, and the rest is dry. Which is why I bought the “White” formula, as it is meant for dry skin. To be real, I will take oily looking skin over dry cakey skin any day of the week.
I read online, and saw a lot of YouTube reviews before buying the product. The thing people cautioned against was the dewy finish. Almost too dewy, and they recommended setting it with powder or blotting upon application.
My skin is really dry during the winter months, so it wasn’t overly dewy for me at all. I only needed one layer, because my skin doesn’t have that much acne scarring, but it does have some redness. This worked out pretty well for me.
I didn’t set it with anything on the first day, and I noticed that some of the product did settle into fine lines within the first hour, which didn’t bother me that much. It worked better when I used a setting spray the next time.
Wearing it the 2nd time:
When I used it the second time, I added a primer and a setting spray. This time it didn’t settle into fine lines as fast, but it did after about three hours.
<– I look so pasty in this picture, but I was standing in front of my window in late afternoon sun (I’m also not wearing bronzer lawl).
With the use of setting spray, I still didn’t find this product too dewy. Except a little on my t-zone, where I get the most shiny. So I’d recommend this to people with dry skin, or to people who live in a dry place; like Alaska in the winter time (me right now).
Aside from that, I can’t think of anything else to complain about.
Final Verdict: 4.8 out of 5 hearts!
