Bookish Thanksgiving Tag

Hey guys, Happy Thanksgiving! Even if you’re not from the US, gave a great day! It’s Thanksgiving tomorrow, and I needed to be festive! I was lurking, and I found this tag at the Life of a Female Bibliophile blog! Here’s the original as well.

Let’s get started, shall we?

Bread: A Book that is Pure Fluff and has No Real Plot Line

All-American Girl by Meg Cabot

I read this book so long ago! It was so fluffy and such a great light read! It does have a plot line, but you pretty much know how it ends just by reading the blurb.

Turkey: A Book That Made You Want to Fall Asleep

All the books by George R. R. Martin, but I want to like them so badly! I’ll keep trying to read them–one day I will conquer that series.

Gravy: A Book that Made the Whole Series Worth Reading

I was so obsessed with this book in middle school, and I did keep up with all nine books. Even though I was done at book six. Actually, the entire series (including this book) wasn’t that great, but the memory of loving Raven Madison is priceless.

Stuffing: A Book Full of Action Scenes

Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare

I really loved this book! Plus Emma was always getting into trouble, which made for some really epic action scenes!

Mashed Potatoes: A Book that Looked Good, but Wasn’t

Fallen by Lauren Kate

I agreed with Miss Rachel on this one, Fallen was a terrible series. Once upon a time, when I was a tiny goth baby, I saw the cover and died. Luce is so prettyyyyy, but why was she so petyyyyy. Ugh, she killed the whole thing for me. Don’t even get me started on Daniel. Still salty, and it’s been six years.

Cranberries: A Book That Has the Sweetest Romance

Along for the Ride by Sarah Dessen

I feel like most of Sarah Dessen’s books are really sweet romances. However, I particularly loved Along for the Ride! This was the first book of hers I read, so it has a special place in my heart.

Corn: The Corniest Book You’ve Ever Read

The Star-Touched Queen by Roshani Chokshi

I recently reviewed this book, and the couple was soooo corny. They were so cheesy, that I was cringing the whole time.

Green Beans: A Book that is Too Long and Needs to be Shortened

The Other Boleyn Girl By Philippa Gregory

Definitely one of the longer books I own. Personally, I think the movie was too short and the book was too long. I still liked it though!

Pumpkin Pie: A Book that Gets You Out of a Reading Slump

Hawksong by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes

I feel like I always talk about this book, or bring it up in some kind of way haha. Honestly though, it’s still my all time favourite book. When life isn’t going my way, I can just look at Danica and Zane, and feel a million times better!

Dog/Cat: Favourite Thanksgiving food that You Would Steal from the Table

Pumpkin Pie, Duh?

Jacked this from Google

I tag anyone who feels like being festive! Or who wants to do it for kicks and giggles 🙂

Happy Thanksgiving~
