The Jingle Bell Tag

Don’t lie, you totally started singing the song when you saw the title, right? Me too! Fun fact, when I was a tiny toddler, I couldn’t pronounce “jingle” or “bells.” So I used to sing “shingle nails.” Haha, no one lets me forget it either…

Anyway, today I am participating in the Jingle Bell Tag, created by Richard @ The Humpo Show! I originally saw this over on the Sassy Book Geek blog! So make sure you read Heather’s post too. She has some really fun answers!

“All I Want For Christmas Is You…” | What book do you want to see under the Christmas Tree?

Blood Rose Rebellion by Rosalyn Eves

Magic, history, a rebellion. This is basically all of my favorite things in one book, I want it so badly!! Hopefully I’ll find it under my tree this year…

“Simply Having A Wonderful Christmas Time…” | What book that you have read this year have you enjoyed the most?

The Wrath and the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh

I loved this book soooooo much! The writing was suburb, the romance magnificent, and the main characters had real personalities! This book gives me butterflies, and I’ve already read it three times.

“It’s Beginning to look a lot like Christmas…” | Which book has most the festive look to it?

What Light by Jay Asher

Not that I’m judging a book by it’s cover, but I totally bought this because I loved the cover. The story was great too, but this cover is everything 2016 needed. I have a review on this book coming out soon!

Elf | What book unleashes your inner child?

The Last Dragon Chronicles by Chris D’Lacey

I was obsessed with dragons when I was a kid (I mean I still love dragons), and I read a copy of The Fire Within until it fell apart. I know everyone else is saying Harry Potter, but I didn’t read the books until I was a little older, so it’s not the same.

The Grinch | Your favourite villain…

Cersei Lannister from Game of Thrones by George R. R. Martin.

So at first I thought of Hades from Percy Jackson, but he wasn’t that big of a villain, he was more of a side character in the books. Then Cersei popped into my mind, and I love her! She’s a terrible person, but there were worse people on the show… *cough* Ramsey *cough*

The Holiday | Name your favourite TWO couples…

The first one is Malec (Magnus Bane and Alec Lightwood) from the Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare. I absolutely love Magnus, so of course Malec is my OTP. Their love story is just so inspiring; they’re from two totally different worlds, and they still made it work! #goals

My next favorite couple is Danica and Zane from Hawksong! They are similar to Malec, from two different worlds but they still work, except, they didn’t choose each other. They got together in order to end a thousand year war, and hated each other at first. But they did it for their people, and in the end fell in love. They are just so great!

You can read my review of Hawksong here

What book would you like to give as a present to your followers?

The Guardians of Ga’Hoole by Kathryn Lasky

I love owls! Plus I think the Guardians of Ga’Hoole is such a great series! I think everyone would enjoy it, so it would make a great present! Definitely one of my faves 🙂

Hope you enjoyed!
