Hi all, so I attempted a look I saw on my favorite k-pop idol; the gorgeous Yura from Girl’s Day! I love Girl’s Day a lot, and I am so hype for their comeback! I’ve seen the “I’ll be Your’s” MV like at least a million times. I wanted to try to recreate Yura’s look, and it looks a lot better in person I think. The pink didn’t show up very well on camera, but what can you do?
Here’s how I accomplished this look!
First I started off with a mix of two foundations. The Double Lasting Foundation (in Tan) was too dark for me (it’s my sister’s colour). So I mixed it with the April Skin Magic Snow Cushion in White (#22).
After that I used the Bubzbeaty Pallet in Able and Grateful. If you look closely on Yura’s IG, you can see her eyeshadow is pink with gold flakes. The only problem is that it’s a deeper shade of pink, so I would advise using something darker beneath Able if you can!
After that I took the Tonymoly Backstage Gel Liner in Black and tight-lined my top eye lid. Then using the Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner in Deep Black I made a subtle cat-eye, and lined my top lid all the into the corner of my eye. Afterwards, I took the Benefit They’re Real mascara and covered my eyelashes in that.
Once I was done with the eye makeup, I lightly contoured my nose-bridge and the sides of my face using the Benefit Hoola Contour. Afterwards, I highlighted my cheeks, nose-bridge, and cupid’s bow using the Aspyn Ovard Glow-y Powder in London Lustre.
Finally, I used the Rimmel X Kate lipstick in 01 on my lips. Yura’s were more of a cherry red, but this was the closest I had. So yeah, there’s my Yura inspired makeup look! Hope you liked it?
