Hi all, so I finally FINALLY got my liquid lipsticks from Michelle Phan’s makeup line EM Cosmetics. I LOVE THEM. If you’ve tried her earlier makeup, it wasn’t all that, which I don’t think was her fault because she was working under a large brand, and didn’t have as much control over her products; but she ended up restarting her brand. So, these products were of a much higher quality. MUCH HIGHER.

I got two colors, but I want them all~~ I got Spanish Earth and Rose Nude.

Spanish Earth is a chocolaty brown, and Rose Nude is a pinkish nude lip. I really love them both, and they are pretty long lasting. I wore Spanish earth for eight hours, and it lasted for quite a while. It’s very light when you first apply, and it doesn’t dry your lips out. I know when she did the promotional video she was aiming for just that; however, I was still how surprised by how well it dried.

Although, I will say that you should exfoliate your lips before applying or it will not apply evenly. One more thing, it does transfer just a little bit. I just took a napkin and dabbed my lips a little bit, and that pretty much solved the problem. Overall I’m really happy with it!

The applicator is really nice, and it’s easy to line your lips and then fill it in afterwards. It fits the shape of your lips, unlike some which are straight up angled; this one has a slight curve to it.

Also, the packaging is everything. I’m living for the black and gold packaging; it’s a huge step up from her old plain white ones. I am very impressed. As for the sent, it’s slightly chocolaty, and I’m obsessed.

Michelle Phan is one of favorite YouTubers, she taught me to do makeup, and she’s so inspiring. Michelle and Lindy (from Bubzbeauty) are the two people who really inspired me to do a makeup blog, so I HAD to try her new line.
