Hi all, so I finally FINALLY got my liquid lipsticks from Michelle Phan’s makeup line EM Cosmetics. I LOVE THEM. If you’ve tried her earlier makeup, it wasn’t all that, which I don’t think was her fault because she was working under a large brand, and didn’t have as much control over her products; but she ended up restarting her brand. So, these products were of a much higher quality. MUCH HIGHER. Continue reading “Makeup Review: Infinite Lip Cloud by Michelle Phan (EM Cosmetics)”
Hi all, so today I found this great tag to share with you all! As you know this is a book and beauty blog, so when I saw this over at the The Sassy Geek Blog I knew I had to do it! So please go check out Heather’s answers as well! I’ll also be including my favorite products along with the books! Let’s go! Continue reading “The Makeup Book Tag!”
Hi all, so I attempted a look I saw on my favorite k-pop idol; the gorgeous Yura from Girl’s Day! I love Girl’s Day a lot, and I am so hype for their comeback! I’ve seen the “I’ll be Your’s” MV like at least a million times. I wanted to try to recreate Yura’s look, and it looks a lot better in person I think. The pink didn’t show up very well on camera, but what can you do?
There are 3 formulas in this palette: matte, frost & glitter.
Hi all, so I’ve been following Jeffree Star since middle school, and I’ve been meaning to get some of his products for awhile; but it’s kind of hard when you’re broke af (I spend all of my extra money on books okay). Luckily my friend got me this pallet for Christmas! I know Jeffree is a super controversial person, but to someone like me he is a success story that all alternative kids can look up to. A weirdo who made it big. So without further ado, let’s get into it! Continue reading “Makeup Review: Beauty Killer by Jeffree Star”

I vaguely remember bubzbeauty recommending this product a while back, and since then I’ve been meaning to try it. As far as k-beauty goes, I’ve only used one other face primer before (from Innisfree). It was nice, but it was better for my sister’s skin than my own.
I really like this one because it is moisturizing, and it’s super glowy. The product claims to brighten the skin, and reduce redness; which it definitely does!
My skin is oily to dry combination, and this product doesn’t clingy to my dry patches. It smooths them out, and also makes the foundation settle better too. If you have oily skin, this product might make your skin too dewy, so that’s my only note.

Hey guys! This is my first makeup related blog, so hopefully everyone can enjoy it. Let me know how well I did, and if I need to cover anything else! So let’s get into it~
I’ve never used a finishing spray/mist before. I picked this up is because my makeup would only last a few hours before melting off my face. I have oily to dry combination skin. There is actually a matte type too, but my dry skin couldn’t handle that. Mostly my t-zone and eyelids are oily, so the glossy type actually looks good on my skin.
The pump sprays very lightly, meaning it’s not to harsh on my skin. I know some misting products can feel like some it is hitting you in the face with a jet, but this one is very nice.
The smell is a bit strong, but I actually love it. It smells like oranges! Not some kind of chemical fru-fru crap like some products. It comes in a bottle of 80 ml, and between my sister and I, we’ve only managed to use up half of the bottle in two months. So a little goes a long way, and I don’t have to keep applying it all day. Once is enough! Although, I haven’t tried it swimming yet, so be aware of that.
I also really enjoy the packaging. It’s really cute and really adds some color to my makeup collection. It’s the kind of product you can leave out for other people to see. Also, I don’t think this product is vegan or cruelty free. I don’t usually lookout for that kind of thing, so addition research might me necessary. I’ll put the ingredients down below!
